Tons of expensive housing even though there is nothing but open fields all because of overzealous strict zoning. No big time companies have corporate headquarters here nothing but government buildings and regional offices yawn this cities entire economy must be made up of real estate related stuff - nothing but real estate agents, mortgage brokers and construction workers. City tends to not improve roads and traffic just keeps getting worse every year. Downtown is way off to the complete left side of the city, which is extremely far from the three largest suburbs, roseville, folsom and elk grove. Howe avenue, arden area is nice sunrise blvd is hell stop go stop go rush hour almost all day. People all rushing around caught up in themeselves dont even know there neighbers type thing not much shopping and very crappy weather where its scorching hot and dry all summer without so much as a cloud for months at a time fields are just ugly brown dry grass with no trees.
