Ask the guy at the front desk or your waiter (first of all, if he speaks English!) and second if they know of anything special going on in the city. My mom and I were really lucky and found out about a Wine Festival going on in Monmartre-a hill in the Right Bank that overlooks Paris-known as a painters haven and for the Sacre Coeur.
