Munich, Germany Travel Advice August, 2006

8/1/2006 - I was lucky that, when I was in Munich, festival was going on called Oktoberfest (October Fest) in Bavaria. It DOESN'T start at October; it starts at late September and lasts for two weeks. As you can imagine, beer plays the main role in this festival. They brew their special beer called "Octoberfest Beer". I didn't like it though. It is pretty strong. There is one street and all the beer tents are on that street. You see people wearing traditional Bavarian clothes
I didn't carry my valuables with me. I rent a locker and put them there. I don't recommend you to carry your stuff with you.
