Honestly, Buffalo isn't the best place for tourists. I wouldn't recommend it for tourism especially with the poor transportation and limited entertainment. This place is really meant for people to work. You can go out to a couple of nice restaurants to fool yourself, and tour the empty downtown Buffalo, and enjoy some beautiful landscapes, however if you want a vacation I say go elsewhere. Buffalo is considered as a Queen City because of its beautiful landscapes. There are magnificent homes in some areas and others not as great. So like any other city, you have your ups and downs. I would also briefly mention that there are friendly people living in Buffalo despite the harsh climate and dry economy. Also, if they choose to drive in Buffalo and decide to visit, make sure it's during the summer and not the rough winter. Luckily, I enjoy winters.
