“Western American Restaurant”. Behind the Lubianka (ex-KGB headquarters) square and almost in front of the French school. Hamburgers like your mamma used to make them for you. Fries, onion rings and all the American salads you want. The waitresses are friendly and also SPEAK ENGLISH (an originality in that country!). Not only that the style is there but the food is as well. Reasonable low prices in one of the most expensive towns in the world. And frankly a good place to eat as the Russians are far to be champions in cooking and are kings to be rude while serving you in the restaurants.
